In the year 2000, Dan Collins (center), who had been the head estimator for a large painting contractor for over 12 years, grew tired of the growing list of dissatisfied customers. He set out to form DC Painting, Inc. with the idea of understanding exactly what the customer wants, and then meeting those expectations through good communication and quality workmanship.
