Do not be taken by this man!!
Reviewed by , 2008-09-07 My experience with Mr. Mark Martin Short has been nothing but a headache. The first room that was painted was completed fairly well, therefore I decided to hire him again for additional painting of another room. He said if I paid cash that he would lower the price. I agreed.
This particular room needed plaster work, therefore Mr. Short hired someone to do this. This gentleman {even though covering furniture in the room} got plaster everywhere. My entire carpet was ruined. Not only did Mr. Short NOT replace the carpet I realized that a lamp was also broken and never told to me.....and never replaced.
After several tries Mr. Short refuses to take responsibility for this mess and since I paid with cash I haven't any proof that he did work {and damage} to my home.
So in conclusion I wouldn't trust this man for anything.
